Xiamududi Fm
Type Locality and Naming
The type section is at Village Xiamududi in Baiyun, Pingbian County, Yunnan. The Xiamududi Fm was named by No.2 Yunnan Party of Regional Geological Survey in 1972, and was published by Yunnan Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources (1990). The strata of the Xiamududi Fm were named the Nanjinguan Fm by Yunnan Compiling Group for Regional Stratigraphic Scale (1978).

Lithology and Thickness
The Xiamududi Formation is composed of gray-dark gray medium-bedded limestone, oolitic limestone and bioclastic limestone intercalated with dolomitic limestone and minor shale. The Xiamududi Fm is 130-389 m thick.
Relationships and Distribution
Lower contact
It rests conformably on the dolomitic limestone intercalated with dolomite in the upper part of the Upper Cambrian Bocaitian Fm (Camb column 47)
Upper contact
It is conformably overlain by the quartz sandstone intercalated with marl at the base of the Dushuke Fm

Fossils
This stratigraphic unit yields trilobites Dactylocephalus sp., Lohanpopsis lohanpoensis, Asaphellus sp., Asaphopsis sp., brachiopods Eosotrematorthis sp., Porambonites hupeihensis and a large member of echinoderm and hornstone.
